It’s a new year and we are starting something new here at Nice Girls Writing Naughty: a monthly BOOK CLUB! The Nice and Naughty Reading Club will “meet” the final Saturday of each month via a blog post here on the NGWN blog.
This is an opportunity to explore new reads in our favorite genre, not just to read the NGWN authors’ books and gush about them, lol! We want to highlight other authors we love, books we’ve read that blew our minds, even some oldies but goodies we hope you haven’t missed out on. It’s our opportunity to share our love of naughty romances with you in a fun and interactive format!
So here’s how the Nice & Naughty Reading Club will work:
1. Each month I will announce the next month’s book. (See the end of this post for our February book!)
2. I’ll read the book and formulate some discussion questions, as well as my own opinion on the story. I’m hoping all of you will read along as well, share the book with friends, get others reading the book and talking about it. I think this could make the book club even more fun!
3. On the final Saturday of the month, I’ll post my blog about our chosen book, including my thoughts on it and some “discussion questions.” I’ll leave the comments open over the weekend and hope you, our lovely readers, will chime in with your thoughts. Say you loved the book or that it wasn’t your cup of tea. Say you devoured it in hours or couldn’t get past the first chapter. Tell us what you loved (or didn’t). TALK ABOUT BOOKS! What could be more fun? 🙂
[We want this to be an honest discussion, but NO author bashing, please. Any such comments will be removed. Not everyone enjoys everything, or even all aspects of a beloved book, so let’s share it all in a civilized manner!]
5. We will leave the blog up over the weekend, allowing for discussion, and then on Monday I’ll choose a MONTHLY WINNER for a prize pack! AND I’ll announce the next month’s book. And on we’ll go!

But that’s the thing about an animal in a cage—you never know when he’ll bite. He might use you to escape. He might even pull you into a forest and hold a hand over your mouth, so you can’t call for the cops. He might make you come so hard, you can’t think.
And you might crave him more than your next breath.
